Unnecessary thinking

   I chose three websites that I have never used before and thought about what things the websites had that were unnecessary, or would make the viewer think more than they want.

LensCrafters

 

   One of the things that I noticed about this site right away was that it had this really weird blank spot in middle of the page. Even though it is blank it brought my attention to it and made me wonder why it was like that. Another thing that I noticed was there were a lot of big icons that were distracting.

Expedia

  The very first thing that I noticed were the very bright colors. And because they bright yellow is in small parts all over the page so i'm not sure where to focus. Another thing was that the tabs don't change color or do anything when you roll over them, so some people might not know that the tabs are clickable.

Delta Airlines 

  The most distracting thing of this site is the very large, very bold, distracting background image at the top. Another thing was that it was difficult to find what things on this site.
